Chris' Surgery

Warning!!!
Surgery pictures below

On the 8th of this month Chris went in for surgery. The doctor removed a benign tumor from in between the two bones of the lower leg (just under the knee). As of today his recovery is still going well but slow. He has filed an extension for his leave of absence from work and for the first time in almost four years we are spending the Christmas holiday together as a family.

Here comes Christmas

Oh, boy....
On Sat. the 27th we went and got our Christmas tree. This year will be a year of first for us. This is the first year that we have done two trees. There is a fake one downstairs that the kids helped decorate and our real one in the front room that you can see from the window. This is our first Christmas in our very own home :) Also this is the first year that we don't have vaulted ceilings.....

"Punkin" Picking with the kindergarden class

In the month of Oct. Micah got to go with the kindergarden class (from the local Christian school) on a field trip to the pumpkin patch. He was invited my his friend Cade. Chris and I enjoyed a day out with just Micah. We enjoyed a hay ride, hot apple cider, and a marshmallow roast.
